What do SMBs want in a hiring service? To find out, we recently surveyed 500 U.S. and 100 U.K. SMB principals. In the U.S., SMBs want high-quality candidates, regardless of company size. U.K. SMBs are most concerned about cost. After that, SMBs are most interested in the ultimate success of the candidate hired – for example in their job performance and cultural fit.

Of the features SMBs want in a job site beyond the basics, a background check is the most popular across the board. After that, U.S. SMBs with 100 to 500 employees like a candidate tracking feature, while smaller U.S. SMBs, and U.K. SMBs, want detailed candidate profiles.
